My Story

Hello, I am Miriam, and here I will give you a small insight into my life.

My path has led me over various hurdles; eating disorders and emotional eating were my companions for a very long time. Psychological lows and depressions were also repeatedly a part of my life.

And of course, with my various, sometimes very extreme phases of hunger or eating, physical complaints were inevitable.

Heartburn, stomach and intestinal cramps, diarrhea, sweating, migraines, nausea, dizziness, hair loss, brittle nails, menstrual cramps, back pain, fatigue, joint pain, and sleep disorders—to name just a few of the symptoms I had to struggle with again and again over all those years.

Extreme weight fluctuations, sometimes of over 20 kilos, have accompanied me since my youth.

Here I had simply stopped eating, but unconsciously.

The tanning bed was the next addiction.

My extreme party phase with a lot of drinking and smoking.

Can you tell that I was under emotional stress?

Laughter is the best way to hide when you’re not doing well.

These are just brief insights into my early career, in which I have repeatedly tried to find myself.

Emotional eating became a source of comfort here, resulting in severe obesity.

Then came dieting again, losing weight followed by the yo-yo effect and gaining weight again. A constant up and down, which of course had very strong health consequences. My body was so overwhelmed by all the stress that I no longer wanted or could continue like this. Then came a point when it really couldn’t go on any further. I had tried everything, including tracking food, protein shakes, and muscle building training 4-5 times a week. But none of it really helped me in the long term.

What to do?

I thought to myself that it couldn’t go on like this and that I must be able to do something to get out of this low in the long term. So I started reading various books about health, meditation, nutrition, etc. That was the first step on my journey, because I really implemented everything that was in those books. I then came to personal development through a few connections and completed several training courses there. That took me one step further. But something was still missing, because I then followed a professional path that stressed me out a lot and caused me to relapse because the strategy I learned there didn’t suit me.

Then came the turning point:

I stumbled upon a book that opened my eyes and added the missing puzzle pieces. It turned everything I had previously read and heard about healthy eating and a healthy life upside down. Then everything happened relatively quickly: registered for the webinar, signed up directly for the phone call, and during the call, I committed directly to the course.

During this time, I changed and let go of a lot, and I found out deep down who I really am. I was so enthusiastic about this course that I wanted to go even further and decided to do the training.

By now, I have lost a total of 38 kilos; I am healthy and fit, and I finally feel comfortable in my body again.
